I love that you write 'Cancer initiates care'. My three children have strong Cancer (daughter is a Cancer Sun, older son has Cancer midheaven with both Mars and Venus there, younger son is a Cancer rising and Moon) and I often saw them jumping in first to care for another child who was crying or hurt!
Isn't that lovely, Maria? I have two Cancer Sun children who are both 2s on the Enneagram--definitely caring. And it's persistent: I see it throughout their lives in striking and beautiful ways.
Susan, I love the idea of a memory garden, so appropriate for the Cancer season of gathering and nurturing. We all need the caring energy of Cancer this month as the world edges toward greater chaos. Peace to you.
"Toward greater chaos." This time is feeling (to me) like the early days of Covid, when we knew that everything was going to change--we just didn't know how. Looking back, seems like a kind of warning. (May be just me.)
Things fall apart so they can shift and change in new ways is the hope and promise of a better world order—if we could only see around the corner! This week is the Summer Solstice at the start of the sign of Cancer, a powerful moment in astrology. Will it be a peak of chaos or a pivot? We'll find out.

Oh what a coincidence, Susan! For me, their strong Water element was needed to slow and ease my strong Fire.
Here, it's my Earth, as you know. Always lessons, isn't it?

I am amazed at the exquisite depth of this post. Important words. Thank you, Susan.
So glad you like this, Jeanne. I'm thinking book here--but we'll see. I very much like the turn this project is taking.
